SOUL operates through two legally distinct but mission-aligned entities that work together to provide high-quality, grief-informed services to communities and  families in Indiana. 
SOUL Services LLC
SOUL Services LLC provides contracted therapeutic and family support services through partnerships with the Indiana Department of Child Services and community agencies.
SOUL INC (501c3)
 A nonprofit organization providing grief-informed peer support groups, community education, and healing-centered programs.

Operational Infrastructure

SOUL Inc (501(c)(3))

SOUL Inc is a nonprofit organization incorporated in the State of Indiana and recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization.

SOUL Inc develops and delivers trauma-informed programming, including the SOUL Ties group counseling program, in alignment with Indiana DCS Counseling Service Standards. SOUL Inc operates as a subcontractor to SOUL Services LLC for DCS-authorized services.

This dual-entity structure ensures:

  • Regulatory compliance

  • Fiscal transparency

  • Strong governance oversight

  • Clear separation of nonprofit and contractual operations

Both entities are committed to strengthening families, promoting child safety, and delivering services grounded in grief-informed care.
